Meet Angélica

Angélica María González is the founder and Principal Attorney of Justicia Divina Law. She worked for a number of years in some of the most highly regarded law firms in the region. She brings big law experience without the price tag of a big law attorney making her practice and experience accessible to a wider range of clients. A savvy attorney with pristine business knowledge and experience.

Angélica is a licensed attorney in the State of Washington and has large experience in corporate business law, with a particular focus on mergers and acquisitions, international corporate, and cross-border matters in Latin America. She helps her clients navigate everyday business issues in relation to security laws and general corporate matters, providing advice across diverse industries including technology, education, aviation, childcare, government, and the nonprofit sector. Angélica supports startup clients, comprehensively understanding their distinct requirements when launching a business. A tenacious and results driven attorney who is relentless and unwavering.

Angélica specializes in contract and legal disputes and has helped businesses across the region recover money. She assists clients with employment law related matters and has experience in helping to represent parents in a variety of issues pertaining to school related issues. Angélica brings over 15 years of parent and child advocacy experience making her a clear choice for parents who need assistance and entities who need counsel on serving children and families.

An attorney dedicated to championing justice. Her desire to help reach justice and access to legal assistance for everyone who is in need inspired her to start working in Personal Injury law, defending the rights of the injured while obtaining a fair compensation on their behalf. She also has a great interest in immigration law, a matter very close to her heart. Raised by an immigrant father along with a large extended family, Angélica believes in second opportunities and fearlessly defends everyone’s right to be treated equally regardless of race, gender and sexual orientation.

Angélica has been nationally recognized for social justice issues related to childcare, early learning, women’s rights, juvenile justice, access to education, and immigration; topics that are close to her heart. Angelica is a mother of 5 beautiful children, with whom she’s proud to share her Mexican heritage. She tirelessly advocates on behalf of children and with MomsRising/MamásConPoder, has testified before Congress in a hearing on childcare. She has been invited to different TV shows, where she has spoken about the state of education of children during the COVID-19 pandemic, and childcare issues.

Angélica has been an outstanding member of the Hispanic National Bar Association (HNBA) and the Latino/a Bar Association of Washington (LBAW) since 2017 and has served as President of Region 16 since 2022. In her free time, Angélica enjoys sharing quality time with her extended family and her kids.
